Sari pulp and paper plant is located at south of Sari, Mazandaran province. The plant belongs to national industries organization (subsidiary of ministry of industries and bank Melli Iran). The plant has been designed to product 175,000 type of newspaper, print paper and corrugated media.

The contract for engineering and supply of equipment was enforced in Dec. 1,1992 with an Euro-Canadian consortium (KSH, KINA, VOITH, SEW) and IRITEC was appointed project engineer.

This project was completed successfully in Aug. 1997 and now is under operation.

Despite of unexpected conditions caused stoppage & long delay in work, but the project finished one year earlier than the expected date.
