Bandar
Abbas marine terminal is the biggest terminal
for raw material receiving and shipping in the middle east and 8th in the world.
The plant is located at 20km west side of Bandar
Abbas city in south
of Iran.
The deep water pier for berthing of the ships with 100,000 d.w.t and the length of 320m is
located 1689m far from the shore and connected to the shore via channel bridge of the
13.8m width.
The construction of pier completed in Aug. 1993. The total weight of
equipment including loading and unloading facilities, shunting yard, material handling
systems, stackers and recliners was about 20,000 tons.
The plant capacity is 6.5 mtpy and the main supplier of the equipment is Krupp-Germany.
The first phase of erection ( pier's & conveying system) finished in Apr. 1997 and the
second phase in Nov. 2000 .
Both phases are now under operation.

Bandar Imam Terminal has been designed to allow
vessels to disembark, accumulate, collect and load iron ores on freight cars.
Bandar Imam Terminal is located 150km far from Ahwaz Steel Complex
at south west side of the ever-lasting blue water of the Persian Gulf.
It includes piers, dredger, loading & unloading equipment, raw
material handling system, shunting yard, loading platform, roofing the warehouse and the
yard to prevent environmental pollution and infrastructural facilities.
The construction operation and parts of infrastructural facilities were completed in 1999
and handed to the client.

TABAS COAL MINE PROJECT

Tabas Coal Mines are located on 85 kilometers , south of the provincial Tabas town and in an area equivalent to 1200 square kilometers.
The contract for implementation of the this turnkey basis project was signed in Sept. of 1999 between National Iranian Steel Company together with IRITEC & IRASCO.
This project is covering over preparation of infrastructures & carrying out engineering design & eventually selections of suitable technology & machineries , basic and detailed design , training and technical assistance , installation & commissioning .
The direct employment opportunity created due to this project is 500 , and bearing in mind the high rate of indirect employment caused by this project .
