Iran International Engineering
Company ( IRITEC
) was founded in
1975 by National Iranian Steel Company, Mine & Industry
Development Bank & Italimpianti ( an Italian firm which
designed & supplied Mobarakeh Steel Complex equipment ) with
the main objective emphasizing engineering, procurement &
supervision of industrial plants.
After
the triumph of the Islamic revolution, Italimpiantis quota
(i.e. 40%) transferred to the National Iranian Steel company (NISCO)
an entity formed through merging of two former companies, namely
: National Iranian Steel Industries Co. and National Iranian
Steel Mill Co.
In
1982, the National Iranian Steel Co. and Iran Aluminium Co.
(IRALCO)
with participating in capital increase, obtained the majority of
the shares ( i.e. 98% of the total ).
Since
Jan. 1990, the new formation offered 57% of their shares to the
experts of IRITEC and the rest of the shares remained in the
possession of National Iranian Steel Company, Mobarakeh Steel
Co., Khuzestan Steel Co., Mine & Industry Development Bank .
IRITEC
is leading Iranian company which renders engineering,
procurement, technical inspection, construction management &
commissioning of major projects and plants in its homeland by
providing with a wide range of services capabilities.
It
outstands as the pioneer turnkey projects executive among its
peers . In addition , by making capital investment &
establishment of different groupings, IRITEC has varied,
capacities in rendering consultative services , engineering
& implementation of projects.
Realizing
this wide range of capabilities & being active in execution
of rather large projects in other countries, IRITEC has opened a
whole new vistas to export technical and engineering services
abroad.
At
persent, IRITEC, applying itself very energetically to the main
areas of ferrous and nonferrous
metal, mineral, oil & gas/petrochemical industries, has
been involved in the massive industrial and infrastructural
projects on turnkey basis.
